I think I know the secret to healing the corrupted gems???

Okay in the episode garnet mentions that the gem’s MIND has been damaged, which is why steven’s powers can only partially heal them.

Now at first this episode seems a little out of place with the others we’ve had. Most of the recent episodes have been pretty lighthearted episodes focusing entirely on the residents of beach city, so suddenly having a heavy episode focusing on gem mysteries and lore seems a little weird at first, but then i realized something: a lot of the episodes focus on two things:

1.) Steven’s ability to heal and cope with emotional pain and conflict (he heals the relationship between pearl and greg, helps kifi and fryman get along again and end their war, helps kiki stand up to her sister and heal her stress, helps lars realize how he is more likeable when he is nice)

and more importantly

2.) Steven’s ability to enter the minds of others.

I think the second ability supplemented by the first is the key to healing the corrupted gems. He can enter their minds to help them work through their trauma and heal them from the inside.

We’ve already seen the beginnings of this in the series. Steven was able to enter the mind of Malachite to talk to lapis and jasper individually, but wasn’t able to do much as his powers were still developing at this point. More recently, steven was able to enter the collective mind of the cluster and bring it to peace, calming the individual shards.

It comes back to what I think rose’s plan was for steven in the first place, and what “Love like You” is actually about: steven is capable of empathy in a way rose just isn’t. In the series, rose is portrayed as very kind, caring and compassionate but she also is shown completely disregarding the feelings of others quite often. Perhaps rose knew that this empathy was the key to helping the gems finally heal, which is why she chose to give birth to steven.

Wait, if the username and password for the pilot were on the usb that was found with the statue, but we got the pilot for completing the puzzle? DO YOU REALIZE WHAT THIS MEANS? WE WERE GOING TO GET THE PILOT ANYWAYS! IT WAS ALL A LIE! A LIE TO PUT US THROUGH PUZZLE HELL!

Alright, who brought this post back?

Its possible that we just wouldn’t have known what that file on the flash drive was even for, if the puzzle hadn’t been completed. Like, there was no clear indicator to use it as a username/password until the pilot link was given at some point and shown to need a username/password.

Has anyone else thought of the possible combat applications of her innocence? Slowing down enemies, speeding up allies, turning the enemy into a baby thus rendering them unable to combat, aging them to death (even if the aging reverses once the effect ends, it still is effective to disable opponents)

the aging to death; it thought of that one too . BUT since it’s mentioned that she can control time And space… teleportation portals ?

She can control time AND space? itsthetardis

I wonder if her innocence is going to be a big part of uncovering all the mysteries around Allen? Like with past!Allen and Cross’s relationship with Mana/Neah and such?

okay i just realised. if someone wanted to bring Lavi or Bookman back as an akuma. and they’d have to call their name. but would it work? does it have to be their birth name? what if lavi calls for bookman and nothing happens? what if someone calls for lavi and gets someone else because thats not his real name? just, what would happen?

I think it has to do more with the person calling out than the name itself. When they’re calling the name out, they have a specific person in mind when they do so. Otherwise, it wouldn’t make sense, really. Usually they only call out the first name, not a full name, and there are likely other people in the world with the same name as well.

Allen’s 6th Sense

This has been bothering me for a while. Ever since Allen “died“, he showed signs of possessing this ability, yet I didn’t see anyone pay greater attention to it. It happened first, when he entered his kinda creepy subconscious.

Somehow he sees Lenalee’s nightmare. And then when he’s suffering from the curse, somehow he telepathically hears her calls.

In the Noah’s Ark arc, his voice reaches inside Road’s dream and leads Lavi out of that nightmare world like a beacon.

(Mini Lavi is goddamn adorable.)

Then in the fandom’s least liked arc, that one with the ghost, he sees Krory and the ghost girl.

He then, wakes up when Cross is “murdered“.

And then he sees a flashback of little Kanda, but it kinda eggs me. It can’t be Marie’s memory, since he was already blind that time. And then finally this:

Allen recognises the presence of an Innocence. So counting all these hints, also Apo’s declaration: “There is no being more unevenly and deeply connected to Innocence as you.“

And then he sees into Apocryphos, to find out he was the one who “killed“ Cross.

Allen experienced all these visions/hallucinations from people who are Accommodators (or in Apo’s case himself). So Innocence is a condition. Also, seeing Allen’s, Lenalee’s, Krory’s and Kanda’s Innocence act abnormal (result of pushing past their limits), we can assume that Innocence is fully or partially sentinent, intelligent.

So, I came to the conclusion, that Allen can see into the Innocence and its memories. Maybe this is the reason why the Heart and Apocryphos want Allen so much.

We can’t forget about his dream about… a future? Apocalypse? When he woke up, he didn’t remember anything about it. And, there was a GIANT CROSS IN THE SKY AND A VOICE MOCKING HIM.
WHO ARE YOU REALLY, ALLEN WALKER?!

How did I miss this?

I noticed this all, one of the reasons I personally think Allen has the heart. There’s also that time when everyone on the boat felt something when Allen’s innocence was ‘destroyed’ by Tyki. That never happened any other time an accommodator lost their innocence, only Allen. The others could sense this through their own innocence.

What I dont realize is why Allen didn’t realize himself something was weird. He literally saw Krory in his dream right before he appeared wtf he didn’t think that was odd?

Suddenly, Sad Marie Thoughts

So I was thinking about Marie, trying to figure out his timeline at the Order, and I noticed something.

No more than 193 days (the time between Kanda befriending and finally killing Alma) passed between Marie becoming blinded in battle and him ending up comatose on a gurney, brain prime for harvesting. In fact, it was probably way less than 193 days, because Marie’s blindness and subsequent injury seem to span the time from Kanda first being marked for disposal until the massacre of Laboratory 6, which couldn’t have taken more than two weeks to a month’s time.

That means Marie was sent on a dangerous mission long before he’d had time to adjust to his lack of sight, and perhaps before he’d even healed properly. At first I was like, wow, that’s a pretty dumbass move on the part of the Order.

But then I had a horrible thought.

In the beggining of the series Kanda said that the first piece of
Innocence was discovered a century ago, that’s when the Black Order was
founded. But you could still be right about one Innocence having more
accomodators with time, Hoshino never specified that.

I think too,
that Marie was sent to die, but not to pass his Innocence on to another
user. They probably thought that blindness wouldn’t be an issue if they
made him into a Second Exorcist too. But Kanda saved him with his blood
and somehow he even survived Alma’s attack and then they shut down the
project.

This common past could be a reason why the two of them are teammates, Kanda is Maries’s eye and Marie thought Kanda about the outside world.

Ah you’re right–the original conflict and the flood were thousands of years ago, but the Order is very new. I forgot about that!

That’s almost more disturbing to think they sent him to die so that he could be turned into a Second Exorcist. It’s practically a fate worse than death in some ways.

I just wanted to point out a few things…

It was heavily implied that Apo taking Allen’s innocence would kill Allen. I’m pretty sure he had no intentions of leaving Allen alive, just like what he did with Cross.

Allen’s innocence was destroyed before the hole was created in his heart, so it couldn’t have been because a shard of it was still in him that it wasn’t destroyed…
