Oh shit. This
is bad. And by bad I mean really bad.

I turn
around to everyone with my usual dumb smile while scratching my head.

“Sorry
guys, guess I dozed off a little, haha…” as I said that, whole church was
filled with laughter. That should do the easiest
part, but now… When I tried to turn towards Allen, I heard hissing. Here it comes…

“What’s
wrong with you, Lavi?” She pierced me with her glare.

“No,
nothing, everything’s alright…” I tried shrugging it off with a big smile.

“Yeah,
alright my ass! What is it? Somethings bothering you, right? Can’t it wait
until we finish the ceremony?” She hisses in low but clear voice.

Well, that’s
what I planned to do. But… Somehow I couldn’t stop thinking about this. And now
that it came to this… Damn it! It’s now or never!

I gulped
and said “Sorry, but no.”

Since I don’t
want to see with what face she reacted, I turn towards Allen. Take a big
breath.

“Allen. Is
there something you need to tell me right now?”

Allen was so surprised, he dropped his happy mask and stared at Lavi in confusion. Did he know? Why did he choose now of all times to suddenly become perceptive? Why did he want to confront Allen now?

“Lavi, now isn’t the time…” he said in a strained voice. As much as he would like to tell Lavi how he felt, he knew that Lavi loved his fiance, and had been looking forward to this day. He couldn’t ruin it for him by being selfish.

‘What?’ he mouthed at Lavi, confused at what prompted the outburst.
