Hot topic went down the shitter long ago and it’s time to find a new place to get your totally awesome fandom inspired t-shirts and goth gear. Here are some sites where you can get your expressive clothing without feeding into this corporate shit monster of a store. Most if not all of the art on these sites are posted by the original artist. (I’m not sure about the goth stuff, you might have to check, some are brand name though so it should be fine)
A simple guide to picking a great color palette. No matter what the colors are, using colors that are certain distances from each other on the color wheel result in a great contrast of colors. The simple color schemes shown above are used in the most popular logos, posters, websites, paintings, and even movies and television.
Make a rectangle, copy it over to the side so it’s like another window.
Now copy those and put them to the side so it’s like 4 windows in a row.
Now do that again so now you have 8 windows
Now do the same thing only downwards and keep going until you have a nice selection of windows.

Now from there, I use the distort tool, I set the layer mode to Screen, make all the windows black, and then just colour in the spots where lights should be on.
