ALRIGHT KIDS WELCOME TO WIG CAP PUTTING-ON SCHOOL
“BUT MEGHAN THIS IS SO EASY WE KNOW HOW TO DO THIS”
HUSH CHILDRENS. YOU GONNA LEARN TODAY.
this is a way to put on your wig caps that stops it from rolling, bunching, slipping, all that terrible shit.
WHAT YA NEED:
two sizes of wig clips. arda even carries these on their accessories page. believe me bobby pins dont stand a chance against these beasts. you’ll need a large and a small size and i recommend having at least four clips, but if you feel you need more that’s alright. a safety pin! no. this will not pop and stab you in the head. the amount of fabric it will be holding is not enough to force open a good safety pin. A wig cap, scissors and dry styling wax! why not gel? nO. NO GEL HERE. ONLY DRY WAX. i’m using paul mitchell firm style dry wax but any good dry wax will do. dry wax is better than gel here because it not only give your hair some tackiness to keep it together (gel is too wet!) but it gives good grip to the hemline (you know what i mean) of your wig cap to avoid slippage!
ALRIGTH KIDDIES HERE WE GO.
WE ARE GONNA GET THIS
UNDER A WIG CAP.
cut off the top of your wig cap. just do it. if you are scared it will unravel of something put some fray stop on there and wait the needed drying time.
Ok, now pull it over your head.
nO YOU DINGUS PULL YOUR HAIR THROUGH IT.
ok that’s better.
now begin slicking back your hairline with the hair wax. you can use a little or a lot depending on how much your hair needs. i have a monster growing on my head so i tend to use a lot.
i didn’t use much in this tutorial though because i’m just wearing this to style a wig today. if you’re going all day at a con, however, wax it up. (note this is hell to get out of your hair with a shitty shampoo and may take two washes but it won’t hurt you ya goof.) being to pull all your hair back so you can pull the wig cap up over your face and ears slowly.
after the wig cap is just over your ears, find the trouble spots on your hair line where you like to pin your wig caps. we are pinning this first so it doesn’t slip off when we close the end of it. i like to pin in front of my ears, in the back of my neck and a few inches higher than my temples. i only used four pins today though because this is not a con.
really force the wig cap fabric through the top part of your wig pin like this or it will fail terribly.as you can see i have little bby hairs because i didn’t use much wax. if you wont want to use more wax just hair spray the tiny ones and you’re good to go.
ok, now pull the wig cap over all your hair slowly, pushign hair down and mushing it around to make it lay flat (you can also do this with damp hair but that makes my head itchy so I don’t do that often.)
then collect the ends of the wig cap, twist them together a bit and stab your safety pin through the fabric. squish hair more to make it flat aaannd

Sai Animation Assistant 2
I finally got around to this last week.
New features:
- Program can now export .gifs! Exporting supports 4 quality levels, custom resizing, and fps control.
- Preview window resizes as you scale the overall program window. Your preview can be as big or small as you’d like.
- Frames are now quicksorted instead of using the native default ordering. This means no more of that 1, 10, 2, 3… 8, 9 order crap. Filenames are weighted by their character ASCII values plus a base 10 positioning modifier. See this Spongebob? This is science.
- Since frames are not re-loaded externally on each rendition, those of you running toasters shouldn’t get preview lag any more.
- Step forward/step backward buttons.
- Specifiable file types for those of you too cool for .png’s.
- Refresh button.
The goal is to give those of us who would rather sketch in Sai (or any other program that lacks a timeline) a way to preview our animation frames without jumping through Photoshop hoops.
Basic Walkthrough:
-Draw your frames in Sai.
-Export each frame to a folder and name them something orderable like:
- 1.png, 2.png…
- a.jpg, b.jpg…
- Midna Frame 1.png, Midna Frame 2.png…
-Put the program into the same folder, or launch the program and go to File >Set Source Folder.
If you load the program from the same folder, it will automatically load the animation. Otherwise it will be loaded when you set the source.
Click play to loop the frames back to you, producing the animation. Adjust the FPS as needed. The FPS can be adjusted while the preview is playing.
The step forward/backward buttons will advance or regress the current frame, they can be used while the preview is playing or while it’s stopped. Stepping to a frame and then clicking play will play the animation from that frame onward.
Once the preview is in place you can make edits to the individual frames in Sai, and update the files as needed. To update the preview, click the Refresh button in the upper right.
Say I wanted to change an arm in Frame 2. I would make my changes in Sai, export the frame as 2.png – replacing the old one – and then click Refresh. You can refresh without stopping the preview animation. If I wanted to add an entirely new frame, I would do the same process only without overwriting 2.png.
Information about the current frame is displayed in the bottom left. Right clicking on a frame will take you to that image file in Windows Explorer.
Exporting .gifs:
I tried to make this as simple as possible. Just go to File > Export Gif. From there select your file name, desired quality, and you can resize the end image as needed. “Constrain proportions” being checked simply means that if you have a file that’s 200×300, and you change the width to 100, then the height value will automatically change to 150.
Export Gif To… does the same thing only it lets you navigate to where you want the gif saved before prompting for file options.
Big, high quality gifs will take some time to construct, so be patient if you’re exporting something large.

If you have any trouble launching it, make sure your .net is up to date.
HEADS UP SENIORS
I just found an amazing scholarship and college research website.
It is called raise.me and it basically gives you mini scholarships for doing things like getting an A in a course, doing community service, or just taking an AP class in general.
For example, you can receive up to $6,000 for a school because you completed over 200 hours of community service.
$30 per hour you work. Guys, that is nearly triple minimum wage.
Also, a few other schools offer mini scholarships for students who get B’s in a class or are taking a foreign language for more than 2 years.
This is the scholarship website we’ve been looking for.
Now you don’t have to spend dozens of nights writing scholarship essays when you can make money throughout your school career.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE spread the word of this website. It is very helpful and will provide many people with the opportunities to graduate college!

How to get out stains using other things
TO SAVE A LIFE
I hope this is usefull!
By the way, this is for artists who want to make different colors for haircurts. Only one contradiction: You need to keep your layers. All separated(So no shadows with highlights.)
It is supposed to work, depending on your way to color,it might not look the same as Chino’s. I know I do that mistake, too.
Imagine your ocs like
no rules
if you wanna use it – do it
Trakoclock asked:
Hey, if you don’t mind sharing, I’ve always wondered how you got that soft celling look on your characters in your comic. Any tips? I’m currently working on my own comic and I kind of want to go for a less harsh form of cell shading. Thanks!
A couple people have asked about the way I color things and I’ve been meaning to post a tutorial on it :]. I’ve never been too good at describing my process, but I hope this helps!
