Quite a mess, this one. I have a really bad habit of STARTING tutorials and then never finishing them. 

I actually don’t think I’m at a level where I am qualified to do tutorials yet. I am still a developing, growing artist myself and I make a lot of mistakes. But I have come a long way! So I decided to share some knowledge that I’ve picked up – just very basic stuff, and encouragement! 

The real joke here is the shirt I’m wearing. Props to anyone who catches on. 

DIY Aluminium Calligraphy Pen

You’ll need tape, scissors, knife, disposable chopsticks, empty aluminium can, stapler and ink.

Calligraphy Pen for Gothic: cut the aluminium into two pieces like above and tape it on chopstick, then Staple the aluminium.

Medium Point Calligraphy Pen: Fold a piece of aluminim, and cut it like picture above. Then tape it on chopstick.

Fine Point Calligraphy Pen: Fold a piece of aluminim, and cut it like picture above. Then tape it on chopstick.

  • for the water color effect just add a new layer above your base (clipping + FRINGE!!!) and there you already tgo  = W =

  • for some nice effects you can also add an overlay

    layer (or some

    textures)
