another work rant
Coworker all pissy because a minor change to one of our forms wasn’t put on the three fliers we made so far.
Well excuse me but I’m the only one who even knows how to edit this stuff and its really hard to remember every single form that needs to be updated whenever we make a change. Its not even a big deal if that tiny change is not on three goddamn fliers omfg. I only work 30 hours a week normally and I am expected to get so much done in that time and I’m sorry but things can slip through the cracks, especially because I am struggling to act normal on top of it because of adhd and depression and shit.
I really kind of hate the pressure put on me because no one else can be bothered to learn how to do this stuff. Another coworker today asked me to create a flyer for her from scratch and she would ‘do the hard part it’ and when I got clarification from her what she really meant was she wanted me to do literally every step except edit two pieces of text on it. And if I had created the entire rest of the flier for her, she wouldn’t have been able to edit the text anyways since I have a newer version of InDesign than she does. Which is also the reason I did not edit that stupid flier template yet. Because once I do, I am literally the only person who can make fliers at all until everyone else gets updated Adobe cloud. Id rather have a student create slightly outdated fliers than be the only person able to make fliers at all on top of all the rest of the stuff I need to do.
I feel a lot more stressed at work lately because of the amount of work I have to do and how badly I get distracted by other things sometimes (coughtumblrcough)
