I kind of want to see a dystopian post-apoc YA novel or film where the protagonist escapes at the end, only to discover that the “apocalypse” was a localised phenomenon, the rest of the world is perfectly fine, and everybody has just agreed to quietly ignore Crazy Dystopia Land.

(For bonus points, have this happen at the end of the first installment, and the follow-up is a low-key character study about the protagonist’s struggle to adjust to normal life and deal with the fact that, to the rest of the world, the genocidal dictator who had her family set on fire is a wacky Internet meme.)

The worst thing about this post is that within literally ten minutes of submitting it, I got multiple asks wanting to know which real-world country I was referring to, because there’s more than one that precisely fits this scenario – right down to the “bloodthirsty dictator who the rest of the world treats as a wacky meme” part.

Isn’t this basically the Divergent series? Ive only seen the movies so far though but that’s what it seems like is happening. >.>

Don’t know if we can look at Coke every the same way again. Be prepared to cringe when you watch the full video  here.

sugar caramelizes when heated, more shocking news to follow

It’s like that guy setting coffee creamer on fire and being like “people drink this stuff!” and it’s like yeah, a dry powder suspended in air is flammable, shock horror.

#i saw a video about how hotdogs are made #PORKCHOP LEFTOVERS OH NOOOOO #??? #get it together people

Never show these guys how candy is made, they’ll shit themselves.

*quietly facepalms forever*

I hate when people try to prove foods are unhealthy using properties utterly unrelated to their value as foods.  You can make anything sound gross if you want to.

Did you know that salt is the same chemical we use to defrost sidewalks?!?!

Did you know that water is a major component in pig urine?!?!

Did you know that bread is made of wheat that has been ground into a powder and artificially reconstituted into a loaf shape using a fungus?!?!

Did u know that oxygen is what Hitler used to breathe?????

Bless all this

Did you know that water is used in nearly every household chemical? And everyone who has consumed water has eventually died!

(But if we stop drinking it we go through withdrawal symptoms that will also kill you!)

replied to your post “I had the weirdest fking dream last night. Ive been having really odd…”

D: what did you dream?

Overall it was kind of a nightmare, bad stuff was happening… but it didn’t actually seem all that scary, even when I was dreaming it.

There were a couple of parts to it, and I cant recall most of them anymore… one part had to do with a convention I’m going to later this week but I dont remember what was going on in that part… but I remember the… third part of the dream? Which was really weird.

Something was trying to kill me and I was in this area filled with like, abandoned shacks? And the animatronics from FNAF were there but they were trying to help me? One of them flew me out of one shack to get away from whatever the danger was but he only went to the second shack then he and all the other animatronics got distracted by trying to find bandaids and tape to fix something, and I was like “Guys, I’m still kind of in danger here the bad thing saw that you only flew as far as the next shack” but they weren’t stopping looking for bandaids… I think that was the end of that part and it turned into something else after that. >.> I dunno that’s as much as I remember now. XD
