I have a sad headcanon again.

I’ve been thinking about what it must take to be a Bookman and something came to mind. Every single one of them carries tons of information in their heads. Important information. Dangerous information. Secret information. And there are probably a lot of people aiming at that. I bet the most dangerous situation for a Bookman to be in would be if they were captured and tortured right?

So I have this headcanon that all of them, every single one, went through really intense and severe torture resistance training upon being initiated.

This can range from zen meditation practice, to going through actual torture sessions.

And if we take into account that this would be a necessary skill for all of them ASAP, then Lavi was only a child when he went through that.
