Allen looked at Calera in alarm.

“I thought you were doing the navigation!”

“Right. Either way, we could always check the train schedule to see how long it would take us to reach the possible missed stop, anyway.” Standing up, Calera stepped out of the compartment into the empty hall, trying to see through the small windows of the cars for any sign of someone’s movement.

Allen followed her down the car, frowning as all the compartments around them appeared empty.

“Where is everyone?” he asked, growing suspicious. “We would have woken up if something happened, right…?”

Allen looked at Calera in alarm.

“I thought you were doing the navigation!”

“I…might have fallen asleep.” Calera mumbled sheepishly, rubbing the back of her hair absentmindedly.

Allen got up to poke his head out of their train compartment, looking for someone to tell them if they had missed their stop. He didn’t see anyone, and sighed.

“Well, we should find someone to tell us where we are, we might not have missed the stop yet, if we are lucky…”
