Allen looked as if he was already half asleep as it was. Lavi chewed
his lip, torn on the idea. On one hand, he was still nervous that Allen
would fall asleep and not wake up. But the kid looked way too tired to
function normally. He probably needed to get some rest. Besides, it was
warm enough in his apartment, and Allen was bundled up in blankets and
full of hot food and cocoa. It had to be ok to let him sleep…“Sure,”
Lavi said, looking at Allen with a worried gaze. He took the cup of
cocoa out of his hands, setting it on the table before he pulled the
blankets up around his feet. “Get some rest.”
Once Lavi took his cup and covered him, Allen moved to lay more comfortably on his side, pulling the blanket up higher until it covered half his face. His body was exhausted, but warming up, and he quickly fell asleep.
