batman vs superman has earned a total domestic gross of 330 million and then world wide another 500 million, to make 800 million in revenue. Man of Steel earned even less–a little less than 700 million total.
wonder woman, in ONE WEEK, has earned 223 million domestically and yesterday on Forbes they were talking about how it might end up making about 700 million world wide.
In ONE week.
Wonder Woman has 93% on Rotten Tomatoes. Superman vs Batman has 27%. That’s almost quadruple the ratings.
Both of those movies also had budgets over 200 million, while Wonder Woman’s was just (comparatively) 149 million. It had 2/3rds of the budget and in one week has made almost as money as those two have ALREADY and it’s very likely with the way this is going that it’s going to make just as much COMBINED as those two, or more.
You bet your ass they’re reshooting and giving her a bigger part. If people come to see Justice League it’s gonna be for Wonder Woman and they know it. This is very much a business, and Wonder Woman is doing phenomenally.
my favorite d&d thing is when someone flubs like a really obvious perception roll or something and the dm gets to be like, “well, you’re pretty sure you’re in a room but you could be wrong”

One time a guy in our party rolled a nat 20 on a perception check, but there was nothing around he didnt already see, so the DM said “You’re not quite sure, but for a few seconds it seems like you’re standing on a giant’s table, surrounded by 5 Giants. Your party seems to look stiff and fake, and Large papers and Dice are strewn around you. Then, everything goes back to normal.”

people who encourage calling the cops in case of domestic violence situations have obv never had the cops called in domestically violent situations.
they’ll arrest & endanger the victim’s ass too. especially if they’re nonwhite & undocumented, and almost always is detrimental. so NO don’t encourage people to call 911 n ask for pepperoni pizza.
it’s better to document instances of abuse, HAVE A SAFETY PLAN, then leave and take legal action that you have control over.
