A dark cloud of illegitimacy hangs over the pending presidency of Donald
Trump. Consider:
1. The CIA has concluded that Russia intervened in the election in order to
help Trump become president. The secret CIA assessment found that Russian
operatives covertly interfered in the election campaign in an attempt to ensure
the Republican candidate’s victory.
2. Trump has close business ties to Russian
oligarchs, friends of Putin, who have financed his projects and, presumably, also lent billions of dollars to Trump’s
enterprises – which may explain why Trump won’t disclose his tax returns,
which would show evidence of these deals.
3. Several of Trump’s key campaign aides – including his former campaign
manager, Paul Manafort – have close ties to Russia. Manafort was a longtime consultant to Viktor Yanukovich, the Russian-backed president of Ukraine who was overthrown in 2014 and who has done multi-million-dollar business deals with Russian oligarchs.
Between 2007 and 2012,
Manafort received some $12.7 million in cash payments from a pro-Russian
political party in Ukraine.
Trump’s foreign policy advisor, Michael Flynn, flew to Moscow last year to attend a gala banquet celebrating Russia Today, the Kremlin’s propaganda channel, and was seated at the head table near Putin.
5. Trump is expected to pick as his Secretary of State ExxonMobil CEO Rex
Tillerson, who is also close to Putin. In 2013, Putin awarded Tillerson the Order of Friendship, one of the highest honors Russia gives to foreign
citizens. Tillerson came up through the ranks at Exxon by managing the
company’s Russia account. After becoming CEO, Exxon bet billions on Russia’s
vast oil resources through a partnership with Russian oil giant Rosneft, owned
partly by the Kremlin. Putin himself attended the 2011 signing ceremony for the
deal. Russia has already indicated it would welcome Tillerson being named
America’s top diplomat.
6. Trump was defeated in the actual voting by a startling—and still
growing—2,676,670 votes. Clinton’s popular vote victory margin is now 2
percent, thus handing Trump the largest defeat suffered by a candidate elevated
to the presidency by the Electoral College in modern history.
The dark cloud of illegitimacy continues to grow darker.
Before the Electors submit their ballots for president next week, Trump must
release his tax returns and the CIA must make public its report on Russia’s
intervention in the U.S. elections in support of Trump.

It’s hearbreaking how many times and how spectacularly life says “fuck you” to Allen.
You have no memories or anyone to rely on? It’d be a shame if people exploited that an abused you.
You have a hindering disability? It’d be a shame if you weren’t forced to do manual labour for little to no food.
Finally found someone who looks past that disability society deems grotesque and accepts you as a human being as well as family? It’d be a shame if they died and left you all alone again.
Someone offers you to bring your loved one back from the dead? It’d be a shame if the one you loved was forced to kill you so you’d have to kill them to survive.
You survived turning your loved one into an Akuma? It’d be a shame if you were forced to destroy them with the “cursed arm”, ended up having a mental scar that never heals and a curse that’s the source of your new nightmares as a bonus.
You were saved from dying of bloodloss and hypothermia? It’d be a shame if the person who saved you constantly kept you at an emotional distance.
You finally found a reason to live and wield the weapon that robbed you of love? It’d be a shame if it started giving up on you. Oh and surprise, a very kind person you met on a train a while back plucked that ugly thing off you, isn’t that nice?
You finally found people you love? It’d be a shame if you were ripped away from them. Oh, and the very nice person from the train even put a hole in your heart so you’d die slow and painful and in fear, loneliness and hopelessness.
Oh you actually survived it! But the reason of your existence is lost o o p s. You did manage to recover it eventually but not before getting ripped apart. Literally. Molecule by monecule.
Finally reunited with your loved ones? It’d be a shame if you ended up abducted and forced to participate in a survival game where you lose everyone one by one and experience the same helpless feeling of using all you love.
Eventually manage to save everyone? It’d be a shame if you faced heavy consequences for that – like being accused of treason and heresy because you can operate the enemy’s tool you stole. Oh and as a bonus you recall that your most most important person has something to do with it!
You finally learn the truth why you could operate the enemy’s device! Turns out it’s because said enemy resides in you and will eventually erode you, the person who saved you deceived you and your most most important person might have never loved you. At all. Also, everyone else you love becomes suspicious of you. Oh and the person who saved you disappeared on you, leaving you in an even bigger emotional and existential crisis.
Finally manage to pull yourself together a bit? It’d be a shame if you made a mistake that led to the enemy getting to know that you’re one of them, they come for you, kill and irreversibly harm people you loved so that you’d join them. Despite giving your all, you’re still powerless to stop a tragedy.
Oh and you die again for a bit.
You revive only to be thrown into dungeon.
Someone actually comes to visit you in said prison upon hearing that you don’t eat? It’s de a shame if another enemy that lurked within your ranks came exactly then to “unite” with you. Whatever that means. But they killed your savior the d r a m a.
Oh, you actually get saved! By the enemy of all people! Too bad your friends misinterpret it and think you really betrayed them this time. You’re forced to leave your home and your loved ones and endure 3 months of loneliness to protect them.
Some of your friends eventually find you! You know what would be fun? If you lost control and almost killed one of them. Now you can’t even trust your own self to keep them safe.
Your friend still wants to stay by your side! Too bad that everyone finds you and you’re forced to run again.
Too bad you get knocked out and surpressed again.
Too bad you wake up in a different world with no escape.
Too bad that the person who saved you won’t save you this time.
Too bad no one is there to save you. They might be there, watching you, but they won’t save you.
