Can you imagine though if Stan stayed in the attic longer with Mabel and overheard the Dipper and Ford’s conversation through walkie-talkie as well

Like he’s completely surprised that his brother would even consider the apprenticeship and splitting Mabel and Dipper up. After he JUST told Mabel she’d have her brother with her through thick and thin. And as Mabel let’s the conversation sink in and as soon as she makes eye contact with Stan she starts to break down. And as he’s trying to calm her nerves and tell her it’ll all be okay Stan already prepares to confront Ford about what he’d just heard.
