I have a suggestion… a wee little one… maybe don’t write asexual headcanons that suggest X character is “too noble/smart/committed to a cause/loves something else too much” to be anything but ace. Sexuality isn’t really about priorities.

Asexuality isn’t being ‘too busy’ or ‘not interested’ in sex.

Aces literally just do not experiencing sexual attraction towards others. Not because we find people ugly. Not because we hate sex or dating. Not because we are too busy. We just dont experience sexual attraction.

(Examples for people who cant imagine this: Straight men dont experience sexual attraction towards men. Lesbian women dont experience sexual attraction towards men. Gay men dont experience sexual attraction towards women.
Aces dont have sexual attraction towards anyone… not too hard, right?)
