We’re the most advertising-immune, fact-checking, comparison-shopping, review-reading, time-saving, money-pinching generation THAT EXISTS.

What were they expecting? “Shit we raised a generation that can instantly share information on a device they constantly carry in their pockets, wonder why trying to cram fakeness in their faces doesn’t work”?

Im really offended by some of these.

We are not killing vacations. We cant afford vacations (and thus cant fund tourism). We cant afford luxuries like golf, seeing movies in theaters, houses (@ Home Depot headline).

We cant afford expensive cereal, and dont have time to eat it because we have to rush to our part time jobs, because many of us cant find 9-5 jobs that they accuse us of killing. We dont have time to be in focus groups, or to listen to spam or survey calls.

We didnt kill the ‘American Dream’, the older generations did by crashing the economy to the ground (and they destroyed bank rates in the process). And they killed Democracy too, making it really hard for us to elect anyone who cares enough to fix it.

So yea, we are a generation that values saving time and money and resources. But that behavior is in defense, because of the older generations fucking us over.
