Sorry for bothering you, I was just curious if you had any assumptions or theories about what happened with Nea in chap. 214 relating to his moment in the bathroom? I’ve killing my mind trying to figure it out, so even a little braindumb might help?

You mean this one?

I think someone psychically contacted him (possibly via Tim) when they realized he was back up and at it, and it was startling, overloud, or both. Personally I’m guessing Cross. Whoever it was must have opened with Welcome back, Nea.

Nea’s lines after that make the most sense if that’s who he’s talking to:

….Thanks. Looks like there have been a few accidents. Well, it’s a long plan, that was to be expected. So, what’s the situation now?

After that he looks out the window with a rather tense expression, which would make sense if whoever’s on the other end of that communication just told him about Apocryphos being on his tail. (This is the first time he’s been properly awake since America, remember, so that should be news to him.)

Having satisfied himself that Apocryphos isn’t standing on the doorstep, he turns around and sets about catching himself up on recent events via Tim. (Tell me about Allen.)

Eventually Allen finds his feet and pushes him back down again, but not before Nea gives Tim some instructions for facilitating his resurrection.

I translated that whole bit here if that helps.

Cheers!
