“Uhh… Okay?” Well, it didn’t sound that bad.
Lavi braced himself with his hands against the window frame and pushed
backwards. He couldn’t get a good grip, and his legs slipped on the
grass outside, making it even more difficult. Even Allen pushing on his
shoulders wasn’t enough to force him out – all it did was earn him a
solid bruise when Lavi knocked his flatmate in the forehead with his own
head as he squirmed.“Sorry,” Lavi groaned, rubbing at the sore spot. “I don’t think this is working.”
“Ow…” Allen muttered, stepping back as he rubbed his head. He looked at the window, wondering what could have changed to make Lavi unable to get back out, but didn’t see anything.
“You really managed to get stuck… we might actually have to try plan B.” He had intended it as a joke… but it still could possibly work.
