yanno, despite all of the comic relief she may provide, miranda is a pretty upsetting character? i mean: 

• she was fired from over 100 jobs, effectively tearing down her self esteem and making her feel useless
• she was bullied by the neighborhood kids?? constantly??? they made up a chant just to make fun of her. c’mon now.
• her innocence??? it can only momentarily stop time around specified targets, but any damage those targets sustain will stay with them, and more often than not, those targets are other exorcists.
• she can tell when people get injured
• she knows that they’re dead before they do
• her fellow exorcists have to fight in her place because she can’t hold her own in a battle due to having the only non-offensive innocence. because of them having to fight for her, combined with time out, they gain more injuries than they normally would if she wasn’t involved in the fight.
• not to mention that regular people have died protecting her, if only because of her status as an exorcist
• the only thing she can do is momentarily stop time so others can continue fighting, but once she stops invocating, all of their injuries come back.
