Noise and Miranda come up with their own sign language codes for when one of them is feeling out of sorts and needs to get out of a situation. Lenalee notices and one day when Noise is out on a mission she sees Miranda start making the sign, then stopping because her helper’s not there. Lenalee asks Miranda to come with her to make coffee, and from then on Lenalee and Miranda use the signs with each other. As the search for Allen and Lavi drags on, Lenalee uses it more often and Miranda is glad to be the one people lean on.
