To be fair, sometimes it’s staring at sand and metal for hours and hallucinating.

And it’s usually a shared hallucination, because other people are pretty much staring at similar pieces of wood or sand and metal and imagining the same exact thing.

Meanwhile, writing is the godlike ability to make people stare and hallucinate.
