Tyki had been working hard all day and after a long day he’d gone home and made some food, took a shower then headed for bed. After a few minutes he started to hear noises and started to wonder what his neighbor had been doing. He lived in a duplex and shared a wall with his neighbor so he could often hear things if the neighbor had gotten too loud.
Groaning he put a pillow over his head and tried to sleep again. Eventually the noises got louder and louder that he couldn’t stand it and got up to go ask the neighbor what the heck he was doing at this late of an hour.
He got up and got his clothes on an made sure he was at least presentable, since he didn’t feel like going out in his pajamas since it had been so cold at night recently.
Allen lay facedown in his bed with his pillow over his head, trying to sleep. What the bloody hell was the neighbor doing? The noise had steadily increased the longer he tried to ignore it. This was not the first night his neighbor has been this loud, and even though Allen considered himself very polite, he was seriously considering getting out of bed to go next door and demand they be fricken quiet!
Suddenly, there was silence. Allen blinked, and pulled his pillow off to be sure. Yep, blessed silence. Maybe I can finally sleep… or not. He heard the knocking again, but now it seemed to be coming from his front door? He sat up, confused, before he heard the doorbell ring. What is it now?
He got up and pulled on a robe over his pajamas before making his way to the door. He cautiously looked through the peephole… wasn’t that his neighbor? What did he want at this time of night, wasn’t it enough he kept him awake with all that noise? Allen took a deep breath before opening the door, snapping at the man would probably not help things.
“Can I help you?”
