    “Ah, well I planned to order as soon as they were done cooking your meal, Allen. If I had ordered right behind you, I would still have had to wait for my food, so I just thought I’d space out our orders a bit.” Calera stated, watching as the cooks worked to fulfill Allen’s large order.

“…either way you would have to wait about the same amount of time.” Allen pointed out, but shrugged and sipped at his soda while he waited for his order. He hoped the caffeine would help keep him more alert tonight.

He wanted to talk strategy, but he would need to tell her about what could be waiting for them beforehand so they could plan for any possibilities.
