My editor felt that Apo-chan “shouldn’t be good-looking but should look like an older man” and drew a sketch of him and sent it to me. I also wanted to make Apo-chan an older man so I based Apo-chan’s design on my editor’s sketch. My editor also requested for the cardinal to have an upturned collar (laughs). Either Apo-chan looks like his maker or my editor is starting to look more and more like Apo-chan. But whenever I mention this, my editor gives me a dirty look (laughs).-Translations by: Verduister
