1920s Detroit DGM au character occupations:

• Kanda: Private security. He has no organized crime connections, which makes him both expensive and popular. Being perpetually slightly hungover doesn’t interfere with his altertness as much as you’d think, but it does make him short-tempered enough so that most people hesitate to mess with him. Mugen is a Browning semi-automatic pistol.
• Lavi: Cub reporter at the Detroit Free Press. Spends his time covering garbage assignments in hopes that he’ll get a break.
• Lenalee: Wants to work. Komui wants her to get married, but not to any of her friends. Lavi, Allen and Kanda buy her a camera, to give her something harmless to do, inadvertently creating a monster.
• Allen: Professional card payer. Hates alcohol, but loves drunk people, because they are both easy to cheat and easy to outrun or outfight when he’s finished.
