okay but imagine everyone finally going to rescue lavi right but before they even get there they find lavi as he’s running away. he managed to escape after all. he’s in horrible shape, but he’s alive. they’re preparing to make their retreat before the noah get there to take him back, but then they all look around and ask:

“where’s bookman?”

and lavi’s only answer is “i’m bookman now”
